My screenplay :) - The Unforgiving Truth

I really enjoyed wiriting a screenplay. At first I thought "wow", wiriting a movie is going to be difficult, but once i thought of an idea and thought of my characters it became a lot easier. It was hard starting it. It is complicating trying to follow each step like indenting each paragraph that consisted of a conversation, and putting a characters name in caplocks indented in the middle. After 2 weeks, and 5 pages I started to actually want to write my screenplay. I felt better since i knew how to do it finally. I know, 5 pages in 2 weeks is really bad, but i got it finished didn't I?
My screenplay took place in London, England consisiting of a girl named Mona. It starts off on a cold, wet, windy day at a cemetary. Mona's mother (Heather) just passed away and her funeral was being held. Michelle, Mona's best friend helps her through the whole movie. She takes her out to a party where Mona met a guy named Brady. They hit it off. Next thing Mona knows, she starts seeing a little girl at random times during the day. The girl is always the same, wearing a white dress and just stares at Mona. Right after the girl is gone that she sees, she thinks of her mother. She attends therapy, but ends up freaking out on her therapist and ends up in a mental hospital. to wrap it up, I end the movie at Mona passed out in the bathroom with blood trickling down her face.
So in the end, my screenplay was a lot of fun to write because I enjoyed using my twisted imagination. :)

The Long, Hard Road Out Of Hell

His Pasty white face, dark red lips and dark black hair hides the attractive, Marilyn Manson. The 40 year old man, has lived an adventrous and bizarre life; his odd childhood, dirty grandfather and horrible school career leading to never having any friends.

I quite enjoyed his book. His insane drug escapades, and groupie stories with all his women associates was very entertaing and a riot to read about. Marilyn Manson's real name is Brian Warner and he changed his name when he joined the Spooky Kids. Each member changed their first name after a model, and last name after a serial killer.

Manson, also talked a bit about his music and how he would accomplish writing his songs, however i feel that he didn't talk enough about his music life. His book was more based on his journeys through out life and about how he got where he is today.

I think Manson was a loser when he was a teen, and when he became famous, he started cutting himself and harming himself in other ways on stage. This was to show that he could do anything, and I think it influenced younger kids who felt they didn't belong anywhere. Those kids cut themselves too.

Creativity

I was never good at writing poems because I never knew how to put words together. People who write poems seem to be very creative and have a lot going on in their minds. I am creative and I do have a lot on my mind that i would love to express but i never knew how to express them. The excersises that Ms. Stronach did with us during class really helped me open up the back of my brain instead of the frontal lobes. I think i am pretty stressed and so when i calm myself down I can write. I enjoy writing poems that are sort of morbid and sad. Or poems that tell a story about something that I think is amusing. I really enjoy describing an object. For instance, I picked up a rusted brown nail from outside by the smoke hole. I described it as being lonley because I found it just lying there all alone. It was as if it fell out of a wood because it was suposed to be holding something together, but now its not. It is not holding anything together anymore. This sort of reminds me of me at some points in my life. I have a hard time holding things together and I also feel alone sometimes. Today I feel amazing though.

Stay Strong

Writing a Short Story

I did not know what my title was going to be for my short story. At the end of my short story I suprised myself with the title. A Blurry Mind just came. Writing the short story was not that hard. I already had half of it done because I used my betrayal story from one of my journals. When writing the ending of my short story I found it pretty hard because I did not know exactly what to add to half of a true story. The begining was all true from when i was a child but the ending was all made up. I made the mistake of saying that we went to a bar and had a few drinks but at the begining of my story were were 7 years old or so. I will know not to do that next time.

How are we Connected?

Our society has changed in many ways over the years. When my parents were kids and they wanted to get a hold of a fellow friend, they would pick up the phone and call them. Now that hardly happens anymore. I do not think I have talked to a friend on the phone in a few months. This is because instead of using the phone, we all connect in different ways. It depends on your age, the elderly probably use the phone more often then middle aged people or teenagers do. As a teenager myself, I connect with people over the internet and by using my cell phone. Over the internet we have facebook and e-mail. Facebook is used by so many people! You can connect with someone who lives in China if you wanted to. If I want to find out what a friend is doing, i just facebook them. I usually will get a reply in at least 24 hours. Also if i text a friend over the phone, i could get a reply from 2-5 minutes. It is a great way to communicate with others!! Another way is talking with someone in person if you meet up. I think communicating in person is the best way to have a conversation. That way you know exactly what they mean and what their emotions are.
