Creativity

I was never good at writing poems because I never knew how to put words together. People who write poems seem to be very creative and have a lot going on in their minds. I am creative and I do have a lot on my mind that i would love to express but i never knew how to express them. The excersises that Ms. Stronach did with us during class really helped me open up the back of my brain instead of the frontal lobes. I think i am pretty stressed and so when i calm myself down I can write. I enjoy writing poems that are sort of morbid and sad. Or poems that tell a story about something that I think is amusing. I really enjoy describing an object. For instance, I picked up a rusted brown nail from outside by the smoke hole. I described it as being lonley because I found it just lying there all alone. It was as if it fell out of a wood because it was suposed to be holding something together, but now its not. It is not holding anything together anymore. This sort of reminds me of me at some points in my life. I have a hard time holding things together and I also feel alone sometimes. Today I feel amazing though.

  1. I like the form you chose for your poem--it really emphasizes the last line, which really works for me
